Hey fellas, got a couple questions for you. First, what would be good jetting for my kz.Itz a 900 with a 1045 kit, .395 lift web cams, dyna s ignition, dyna green coils and wires, unifilter pods, and stock carbs. rite now it has 125 mains, im guessing stock pilots(i couldnt read the number) and stock needles raised to the 4th position.Im inquiring because I was told it was too rich.it runs fine but i do notice black smoke when i rev it high. Also since i raised the needle it pops on deceleration, when i get on it kind of hard and then let off the throttle. Another thing i noticed is when i first start it with the choke lever all the way up it idles but i get more rpm's if i back the lever down a notch or two. What causes this? any info would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

i run 117 mains in my stock 26mm carbs the popping that your getting on decel is usallay caused by too lean of a setting on the fuel screws try taking them out all by a half turn then run the bike and see what happens the reving up when you back the choke lever down is pretty standard most of mine do it as well i'm aware of it so i compensate for it. i haven't bother to worry about it because it only happens on real cold days on my bikes and i don't like to sweat the small stuff to much.
