I hope this is the right topic heading for this.
I just returned from a rather lengthy ride this evening and wanted to ask everyone this. I have just recently balanced my carbs, set my mixture (still fine tuning it a bit), and installed a wired george style wiring bypass for the coils. I was only getting 10.4 volts before.
Now when my bike is running well, when I'm at cruising speed, I get this nice pulsating hum from the engine. I'm not sure how else to describe it, but it sounds like things are working very well in sink. I'm assuming it should sound like that, but I just wanted to hear everyone else's experience, if any, with this happy hum.
Happy riding.
Oh yeah I'm riding a 1978 KZ650 SR with about 25.5Kmls on it.
