Why would you need a pump? Gravity will do the job just fine. The needle and seat assemblies in your carbs are not meant to work under a pressurized system. As soon as the pump starts, your carbs will piss fuel on your shoes.

ditto unless you install a regulator and drop pressure to around zero which defeats purpose of pump B)

Dark... your killing us brother...

Gravity flow fuel is the way this was designed and has for the most part been working since the earliest of motorcycle conceptions...

Unless of course your planning on converting to a fuel injected system.

Damn dude, from your other post, get your jets right first. As previously mentioned to you... finish one thing then go to the next issue or you're never going to get this bike operational.

LOL....I love you guys... Well I putting in SS braided fuel lines over the winter, and I didn't know if i would be ok..I am going to extend the line a bit to put in a inline filter....That's all....BUT i should have thought about it...when they made these bikes...not very many bikes had pumps....bikes with the bs34's didn't.....so sorry for the dumb question. My jetting is alright though...i just think I need to replace all the jets...I did the mains. I will colortune it over the winter, and decide if i need to do further work.
