Start by making sure the pet-cock is closed. Drain bowl and hook up clear hose ??? and hold up by the carb turn back on pet-cock and wait till fuel stops filling in the tube, measure level to the mating surface around 2-3 mm???? Check the other three the same way with the bike on center stand????? What do I use for a connection from bowl to tube??????

Is quick and easy, and with minimal or irrevelant leaksge.
Perhaps a good hardware store or hobby shop.
Good Luck!

Do you check all four at the same time????If you want to
I just check one at the time. Because of needing to hold the plastic hose so very still and steady against side of the floatbowl during the "filling and reading" part of the test.
Besides, I only have one hose.
Good Luck!

Thanks,I guess it doesn't matter,it sounds painful any way you do it. Drain, tube, fill, drain, adjust bla bla bla on to the next three......
"Checking" is relatively painless, compared to "adjusting."
If done with carbs on the bike, I perform the test outside on the driveway, with a shop towel under the carbs to catch and soak up any gas spillage.
"Adjusting" is for me a carbs-removed-and-on-the-bench procedure. And testing each successive float tang adjustment with carbs on the bench.
Only need one floatbowl screw during testing.
And even this float tang adjustment procedure is best done on an outside table, imo, with carbs preferably "downwind."
Once set correctly with proper tang adjustments, the levels should remain good-to-go, indefinitly. As there's nothing to interfere with the adjustment following re-assembly.
Good Luck!

The guy I bought if from Had rebuilt the carbs and told me they need sync. But I dont know if he properly adjusted the float levels. Time will tell, that is when I check them out.
Would concur with verifying fuel levels before synching or other carb adjusting.
An otherwise perfect carb will suffer from incorrect fuel level. Too high = too rich. Too low = too lean.
Hopefully, the rebuild was competantly done and also included correct float heights (easily verifed with carbs on the bike by using the clear tube test).
With a good sync being the final touch.
But wondering why anybody would rebuild carbs and not sync them.

They all say that.
Good Luck!
