1975 KZ 440 Carb Boots

First off, thank you mods for creating a place for all of us KZ owners. I have owned my 75 KZ 440 for 20 years, but have not had it road worthy in about 5 years. Even thou it was stored indoors under a tarp, many things have failed and will be needing replaced. Currently I am looking for front and back carb boots. I have searched ebay and found some 1981 kz carb boots but I do not think they will fit. I have already used silicon to seal these over 15 years ago, and what an EYE SORE!! Anyways if ANYone has some extra 75 kz 440 parts laying around, please email me info@jackmillz.com with some links. Below is a short list of parts I need. Thanks in advance for your time and patience...

All parts are for a 1975 KZ 440:

carb boots (front and back)
Front right turn signal
Tachometer cable
Speedometer cable
clutch cable
throttle cables (both top and bottom)
front brake hose (from reservoir to adapter where it goes into a regular line

turn signal/horn/hi low beam switch assembly

stock left mirror (or set similar to original that will fit)

Side cover KZ440 emblems (both left and right emblems)


I know many of these parts are no longer available, but if someone can point me in the right direction (ie: cross referenced parts that will work), I will gladly send paypal money to those who help me.

This bike means the world to me, and I would like to get it ready for the 2010 riding season.

Better check the vin, just to make sure. Your bike, from the photos, is a 400. There wasn't a 440 in 1975 as far as i know.

After doing some research today, comes to find out my state's DOT messed up on the original title. No way of changing it (as far as I know)...it says 1975 KZ 440d2 on the title. Anywho, it is a 400d2. Did any of you guys notice the K and N air filter listed on their site will not fit (part number KA-1150)? Ive been back and forth to K/N all day with no resolve. Take a look at my airbox! Rusty as a son of gun
