I thought i had most issued resolved on this but came across something that has stumped me. I got a rebuilt set of keihan CV34's for my 81 KZ750 H2. they came off a differen't bike but I did not think this would be a problem. The bike ran good for the first few short runs now not so much. Rough idle and poor fuel consumption. I took the carbs off as the float levels were too high and that's when I noticed the jetting on it. the secondary mains are alot smaller, 100 when my old ones were 125. Not a big problem there, I can just swap them out. But there are no primary main jets on this carb..... i cannot even put in the ones from my other carb as their is no threading on where they should be installed. it doesn't look bored out, if it was they did a very smooth finish. I haven't run into this before, anyone out there have any thoughts. The bike had pretty good power at full throttle. I didn't have any issues with throttle above 1/4 with these carbs.
