hi guys . been offered a set of mikuni 34s off a 1989 kawa 750gt which i have been told will fit my z1a 1075 wisco bike . i know the inlet rubbers will need changing . will these be ok and will it be a case of just rejetting and new inlet rubbers . i know you guys talk about the bs34 from z1000j being the carb of choise but apart from jetting are these the same carbs . any info welcome . thanks guys

I am not really sure what the question is here. The BS34s off a cop bike are essentially the same carbs as from a KZ1000J except they lack the four diaphragms on the sides. Those things are called coasting enricheners and they ensure that you can use lean jetting and not backfire when the throttle is chopped but don't do much one way or the other as far as performance goes. You need the intake manifolds, new air filters (pod style 52mm) and a new throttle cable. Get the one from a cop bike. And of course, rejet.
