Aight, the carbs have been cleaned (mostly, previous owner crapily painted them black, 90% gone), jets have been cleared, main jet neede is ok and set right. What is a good starting point for the pilot needle to be set? 2 turns out?
Sidenote, I now have an enemy. who ever it was that owned this bike before me spray painted the carbs black. I just spent almost an hour getting the major part of the paint that fell off with the carb cleaner. grrrr.

As for the turns out... I'd start at around 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 turns out. I think I'm currently at 2 turns out though.... hell I can't remember, it feels like a year since that even mattered.... riding, I mean...
