got my bs34's in my kz900 today 37.5 pilot and 140 main jet.I dont have my filters on it yet and took it for a little ride. It idles up and down and when riding takes a few seconds or more for the rpm;s to come down .Is this because of the pods missing or do you think its dirty again, float levels, I checked for vaccume leaks. My other carbs 26mm were fine. Also I cheked the slack in the cable was fine .Could it be a pilot jet, please help:S

If it takes a while for the idle to drop is usually indicative of idle being too lean. Try to adjust the Idle screws first before changing jets. This will also improve low end response.
