what model are my mikunis? was created by divinginn
I have a 83 gpz 1100 with the fuel injection system removed and replaced with carbs. Here are the numbers I could find T216 T36 D3p,these carbs look different from any I have had on other kzs,the carb top has a black krinkle type finish and looks kinda like a funky looking valve cover. Anyone have a clue?

Thanks, would these carbs be a good match for the gpz,the only info I got when I bought it was that it had different cams in it. If I rap the throyyle quick it wants to die,if I hit it slow it revs fine, idle is a little rough and is cold to warm up but fires right up with the choke on.

way to big on that small of motor in my opinion unless its a dragbike,i know of a very healthy 1385 kawasaki in omaha running 36 flatslides if that gives you any ideas! i took the 40 flatslides off my 1327 and switched to an old set of 33s,made a world of differance on a streetbike

That is what it feels like, too much carb, when you told me they were 36s,I thought that might be the problem. I wonder what bike these came off of or are they racing carbs. It goes like a raped ape on the top end.
