Okay... I replaced all 4 of my spark plugs today and a weird thing happened...

#2 finally fired up and it was awesome.... but then #4 was cold.

Put old spark plug back into #4 and it seemed to be firing on all cylinders BUT #3 was no longer scolding hot. WTF?

I'm so confused.

What kind of spark plugs are you using? Are they all the same?

Rockin\' a KZ650B2 since 2007 and a KZ 1000E since 2008

1978 KZ650B
1979 KZ1000ST

They are all NGK spark plugs, I think the new one in #4 was just a bad plug. I took it for a ride... horse power is back, no bogging down, no flat spots and now the #2 pipe was scolding once I got to my destination.

I think maybe just because it was so gunked up it's taking a while to burn it all out and operate optimally?

Quick question too...

When I re-jet I noticed the jets for mine go up by 2.5 so like... 100, 102.5, 105...

So going up two would be say... if I had 100 going to 105?

yes they make 2.5 steps
