Carb Sync was created by Darkangel
ok I have open headers for exhuast i am going to baffle them, and I just bought pods for the carbs, and I want to sync my carbs....

Ok...Will I have to get a jet kit, or can i just sync them, and be good...Also Can I just a regular vaccum meter to check the vac off the carbs...instead of buy really expensive carb sync tools.

Synching and jetting are two different things.

Synching means adjusting slides or butterfly valves in order to have equal vacuum in all carbs thus making engine run as smooth as possible.

Jetting is done to achieve correct Air/Fuel -ratio per engines requirements.

Jetting and A/F -adjustment are needed if you change some parts of motor set-up. This can be f.ex. pod air filters, changing exhaust etc.

Please SEARCH this forum first. Use words like carburettor, jetting etc as there´s a lot and I mean a LOT topics on this subject. And a lot more things to eard before starting to rejet.

This might also be intresting for starters:

THAT color tune is a way cool tool. takes the guess, I'm close enough right out of it. think I will get one coming. I have a hard enough time getting it right on a single cylinder!.
