So I got a couple of Mikuni VM32s off ebay for stupid cheap. I cleaned them up, stuck 'em in the stock flanges, made sure they were getting gas, kicked it over and it fired right up!

It idled a little high until I got the air screws right, now it chugs along pretty nicely. Throttle response seems pretty good, although there is a little backfire every once in a while.

As far as I know, it's got the stock VM jetting in it. the air screws are out about 2.25 - 2.5 turns. Needle clip is on the second position from the top.

I hooked up my carb tune to get the idle mixture right, now I'm just wondering about the rest of it.

Has anyone else run VM32s? What jets did you end up using? What throttle slide? What engine mods?

I've got the cheapo Emgo pods and a set of drag pipes I welded up - sucker sounds pretty good for a little scoot.

Thanks,
Jay
