$600 is a lot of $$ right now.
I sold Tom a set of Kenny Harmon 410 cams at an IDBA race
at Norwalk,Ohio In 1991 or 92. He loved them, I did not know what I had!!
At the end of that day I sold a set Of 28MM 73-74 Z1 early carbs for $20!! Years before ebay!!
Back then Tom had alot of fancy stuff, pretty bike, nice trailer, Had $$.

Marty with Jims Cly Head Top Fuel bike, One of Puppets gang!!

Livin in "CheektaVegas, NY
Went thru 25 of these in 40 yrs.
I SOLD OUT! THE KAW BARN IS EMPTY.
More room for The Old Girl, Harley 75 FLH Electra Glide,
Old faithful! Points ign. Bendix Orig. carb.
Starts everytime!

Ive had really good luck dealing with tom. if thats what he wants, then thats what they are worth. Why save a few bucks and end up with junk. They will only go up in price anyway

Hey Plummen the word is out from the guy that I ride with. The new 29's are way nicer than the 29 smooth bores. They have a bigger throat are much easier to tune and they can adapt to the jmodel intakes in a snap so that you may port and polish accordingly. He said he is totally sold on them which makes me want to get a pair for my bike.
The first 6 bills that someone offers me for my 29s smoothies will be the instant I buy new keihins for my bike too. His bike runs way better than when the 28mm z1 carbs were on it. Those carbs are not so fun to tune and the linkage is not so good on those early carbs. Keihin even has 31s Mikuni's smallest size now is the 34 which is probably great for the track but on the street I much would rather have a little smaller for the nice crisp throttle response.
