Ok now that the carb starvation issue is fixed, there is another problem.. When the petcock(manual) is left on the carbs overfill and run back through the air box and to the ground via drain hole. How do I go about fixing that?? Is it also true that when the carbs overfill like that that it can get into the crankcase and oil?

sounds like you have a float valve that is sticking open and it will fill up the bottomend with gas turn on the gas and give the carbs a smack on the float bowls with a dead blow hammer or the rubber handle on a regular ball pein and it shoul get it back inline quick. it might have cocked a bit when it ran dry of gas.

Besides correcting whatever is preventing the float valves from sealing, would also assure the floatbowl overflow circuit is clear whereby excess fuel may escape through the floatbowl drain nipples and attached drain tubes to underneath the bike.

When the overflow circuit is functioning as designed, excess fuel in the floatbowl is supposed to escape underneath the bike so it doesn't rise up into the carb and eventually into the crankcase.

It's also a good practice to turn the petcock OFF whenever the bike is parked.

Does this bike have a tube (perhaps S-shaped) connecting the crankcase vent to bottom of the airbox?

Good Luck! :)
