26mm carbs, 4-1 header, pods, coil mod and pretty much stock . my jets are 17.5 pilots with 117.5 mains and idles very nicely after its warmed up a bit.The only problem I get is when I really crank the throttle back in first gear for a wheelie or burnout and right after she bogs down like crazy for 5 or so seconds but other than than she goes like hell in the upper rpm range right thru to 11g, just curious what that could be.

do you know what the needles are clipped at?....and you spin it up to 11 grand?.....whats the redline at for that bike?.......keith

well the redline starts at 8500 but she pulls right too 11000rpm, I dont know if I should screw with it or not it runs so good at Idle and high rpm any feedback would be greatly appreciated

bump your idle up to 1200 or 1400 and try that i have almost the same set-up on my street bike and when i know i'm going to some crazy stuff i just bump up the idle ahead of time and it comes back no problem as for these things turning higher rpm's then stock my old bike i had a drl-200 rev limiter on it and it was set for 11000 rpm i used to launch the bike off the high end all the time as far as i'm concerned if the motor is built right it can and does handle it quite well by th way what the hell is a red line anyway it's more of a suggestion it's not like if you hit it or beyond the motor explodes never has with any of my stuff anyway my 1393 motor makes over 150 at 10250 so still is making good power high up.it may not be needed to go to those big rpm levels but it sure is fun! :woohoo: :woohoo:
