Yes, there is a way...go to your Kawasaki shop manual (99997-744-04), turn to page 15 and follow the directions...supposedly takes a special tool also.

You can hold a hose to your ear and the other end in the carb opening and listen , you should be able to hear if they sound the same. It's easy on my bike with no airbox.

Before I had mu gauges I used to put a piece of wire under the slides and turn the carb so the inlet faced down and then turn the adjusters until the wire fell out on all the carbs

i made the sync tool just out of curiosity to check it out i used 1/4id hose not 1/8 as in the plans and it works really well i used it to set them and rechecked with a borrowed set of gages and it was spot on good idea allthough it cost around 7 dollars not 1.50 but still a bargin

any plans on one for a four cylinder or just do carbs 1&2, then 1&3 then 1&4 with a mark on the tubes at the first set of carbs to go by.

I recently did a sync for a member of another forum. When he got here I found to my dismay that one of the tubes had broken (this was a Motion Pro mercury model). So I wound up doing two cylinders at once and used #1 as a baseline for the other three. It worked well and he says the bike is running great.

I'm not sure if I want to replace it with the yardstick model or one of the new Motion Pro models. I don't foresee a need for one for a while, though. :D
