MY '78 kz650's vacuum petcock is leaky and i think i just want to replace with a new pingel nonvacuum one. what is a good way to block the vacuum line on the carb so the mixture isn't too lean?

You should be able to go to your local auto parts store and be able to pick up an assortment of vacuum caps.

The vacuum cap is the best probably, but you can simply find a bolt the correct size and plug the line with that, or get a wooden dowell and plug it ect. Anything will work really.

321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.
