Mikuni RS 34mm Throttle cable adjustment?

Any advice on throttle cable adjustment on Mikuni RS series of carbs. Push and Pull are reversed on the Carbs compared to stock and smoothbores. Throttle does not seem to have the same snap back to close and idle seems slow to return to normal. Thanks.

OW, Most dual cable carbs like 2-3 mm freeplay at grip w/ bars centered. I'd start there. I like as little freeplay as is possible, tho as a natural function of cables, freeplay changes w/ bar oreintation. cables, depending on condition, routing etc.require differnt amounts of slack to allow a crisp return and/or affect idle speed when turned lock to lock. experement, big loops, and smooth lines in routing ease effort.minimal free-play allows more precise throttle control.
