I have this KZ440 a 1981, its the first bike I have ever owned or had to work on with a vacuum line going to the petcock. I want to run it off my auxiliary fuel tank that I use for testing. I was wondering if I need to hook up the vacuum line from the carburetor to anything so it will run properly or can I just leave it or plug it?

If your petcock has a pri or prime setting, you will not have to hook up a vacuum line to get fuel to flow.

You should however block the vac. line to carb. or there will be a vac. leak to that carb, G

A golf tee works great for plugging that vaccuum line.....chris3
