BS34 tech question was created by Bicycle Lee
a guy contacted me about trading his 28mm carbs for my bs34's. He asked me if they have a choke plate in the bore or if they are the enrichment valve type. I didn't know the answer. Can anyone help me out?
Thanks
Thanks

I am reasonably confident that the answer is enrichment circuit, not choke plate. At least, that's what I've got on my BS34s. If yours is the same as mine, you pull a knob straight out from the left side of the carbs to apply choke. This opens up an enrichment circuit, adding more fuel to the mix.

yeah, my choke is operated by a knob. Thanks, Skyman.
