Mikuni Main Jets in Kei-Hin carbs-Will they fit???

Anyone know if Mikuni Main jets will fit into Keihin carbs? If they do, is the sizing the same? Is it stil set by flow rate like Mikuni? My brother bought a ZR750 Zephyr, which is a beautiful bike, but it has Keihin carbs which I have no experience with. I have every size of Mik jet imaginable but nothing for the KHs. Before I tear them apart, I thought I would ask. Is the thread the same?

no they are not the same one is measured in mm and the other is measured in flow

I do know that the Mikuni are measured in flow. Do you know if the screw thread is the samen though?

yes i think they are why it will just mess you up trying to go back and forth. both mikuni and keihin jets are readily available and are reasonable also there are many different types of each.

I just have hundreds of Mikuni Main jets, and don't want to bother with starting another collection. I have a very accurate pin gauge set which I can check the hole size of each jet. This way i can convert to Mikuni sizes.

i thought it might be some thing like that if your going to do it try to use the large rounds as they will sit in the bowls in almost the same spot as the small round kehins do.

That's what I have. Larges, every size from 97.5 to 145. I was hoping you'd say that.:woohoo:
