FSM Help Needed For 650!!! was created by H2RICK
Is there anyone out there with an FSM that covers the 650B1 ?? Does it ALSO cover the 650C1 ?? Does it have a supplement covering the B2 (not B2A) and the C2 ?? I'm trying to get early AIR screw style carb info and illustrations because my Japan-built 650C2 has the air screw style carbs. My FSM does NOT cover the early air screw style carbs.
Any and all help appreciated on this.

Go to www.wgcarbs.com He has a forum about carbs and rebuild them as a business out of Texas.

Have you tried these two websites? www.repairmanual.com and www.onlinefreebooks.net The first has FSM for most bikes but I'm not sure it will cover Japanese built motorcycles.

I don't understand "early air screw"? Early 650's came with "pilot screws" and later 650's came with "air screws". My FSM covers both, what do you need? :)

We have a Kaw FSM for the KZ650 in our downloads section but I can't recall which model(s) it covers. I have .pdf pages for the carburetors for the B2A and onward but not the B1 or B2. You are correct... there were air and pilot screws used in 78 as well as one assembly using both air screws and pilot mixture screws which was used before they started using an accelerator pump.

Thank you to all who offered to help. rstnick of this board has kindly put the appropriate pages from his early FSM up on Photobucket. Evidently the FSM for the B1 also includes the C1 and, if I have it right, a supplement that covers the C2. These bikes ALL used air screw only carbs as WG confirms.
Bottom line....problem solved. Now I just have to get a paper copy of that whole early manual. Fleabay, here I come.
