hey all, i have a 82 kz750 and would like to upgrade my carb. the guy i bought it from had the pod filters on there and am not sure what he did. i would like tho be able to get the best performance out of it and would like to know what to do. i am really new to the whole DIY with a bike. so i need all the help i can get. pretty quick learner tho. any one in the columbus, ohio are?

currently have a KZ750

is it a 750 twin or 4cyl?

'82 KZ750 CSR, M1 twin. Mac 2-1 exhaust, K&N pods, 17tooth drive sprocket, Mikuni BS-34 carbs w/#47.5 pilot jet and #125 main jet, Canadian XS650 needlejetjet needle, Wired George's coil mod.

Sorry, I got the pod-mod to work on my '82 twin, but the requirements are different w/the 4's. Someone should be along to help you out.

dyna jet makes a kit for your bike still i would start there first they are very easy to install just follow the instructions to the letter and you will be alright. i have inastalled a few in 750's over the years and they all worked quite well.
