air spitting thro' carb pods was created by GAZ
If only somone can help me with these carbs i would appreciate any info . My kz100 runs vg when warmed up , nice throttle response and good acceleration ect . WHEN THE BIKE IS COLD IT CONSTANTLY SPITS AIR THOUGH THE CARBS INTO THE PODS , THIS HAPPENS ALL THE WAY THROUGH UNTIL THE BIKE IS WARMED UP AND THIS COULD TAKE 5 MINUTES . Please reply if you think you can help , Gary in Oshawa Ont

spark plugs have always looked ok , not oily anyway .

could it be the timing ?

The bike is lean at start up. I have no idea what bike or carbs are being discussed or what airbox/pipe mods have been made so can't make specific recommendations. May need rejet or cleaning.

todays fuel is not the same (ledded fuel) you need to rejet.
