Rejetting stock 83 F1??

I've got an 83 750 F1 that is my first project. I wanted to get you guys' input on what I should expect as far as jetting my carbs upon engine reassembly. The engine itself will be stock(just torn apart for a reseal), but I might look into a set of pod filters(I hate the stupid boots going to the airbox, piss me off!!!) and maybe an aftermarket exhaust. Keep in mind that I live in Colorado Springs, CO, at about 6500 ft above sea level. I know these tend to be extremely sensitive to even minor changes made to the engines airflow.

P.S.: While your reading this, any input on finding an aftermarket exhaust? I know MAC has a pretty descent site, but limited selection for my particular bike. Anyone know if I ca go up or done in years? I don't mind modifying mounting points, as long as it bolts to the head correctly and clears the frame as needed.

try jardine i put one of there systems on a freinds bike about 12 years ago and as far as i know it is still working fine also check out dynojet for a jet kit because they used to be developed in montana at higher altitudes and with apipe and air box removal you will be making a major change in the flow paterens of your bike as far as i know they still offer akit for your bike you might have to go direct to them to remind them as most suppliers aren't going to carry something that old. goodluck and i wish you great success.
