i have a stock 79 mkII with a kerker high flow KR pipe and MAC muffler with racing baffles. and emgo pods on the carbs. it currently has stock jetting. i know i need to re jet it before i take it on the road. does anyone have any suggestions on what i should start at on the pilot and main?

also, how do you sync mechanical slide carbs.

Purely as a guess, I might go +3 sizes richer on the main and +2 richer on the pilot.

Can't help you on the sync question.

try 117 mains and 17.5 pilots. you have to take the tops of the carbs off in order to sync them there is adjusters on the likeage rod
