Is there a really noticeable difference between the 36's and 38's on the street? I have a really nice set of RS38's that I want to put on mine but I'm a little worried about how it will be on the street after reading a few threads here recently. I'll have a 1260 kit, .435 cams, ported/polished head with oversize valves intake and exhaust, msd ignition, etc... What do you think?
From what I have heard, the lectrons are way harder to tune for the street than the flatslide Mikuni's. Have you heard this too?

With a 1260 kit, .435 cams yada yada I think 38 would be fine for street. Considering the whole bike is barely streetable. That thing must be a handful.

With a 1393 kit I would expect 38mm lectrons to be the minimum carb for that bike.
