40 was stock in my California model, wayyyy too lean. I think 45 is the correct stock pilot. As to how much you go up? Won't know until you get there.

Also the formatting on that page seems to be screwed up, but why do they have the sizes listed like they do...i.e. it has the 45's, and then 55's directly below them...then the next line down has the 47.5's, and 60's? :huh:


I think the page does not display correctly. They do (or did) sell every size from 30 to 60 as far as I know.

They do NOT sell main jets that will fit a BS38 carburetor. Nobody does.
