a lot better than the emgos.....dont bother with those .. i bought a set and they fell apart when i installed them.....junk......i cleaned up the k and ns i had and ran those....no problems....imho...stay the hell away from anything emgo....

That's strange, cause I been running them on all of my bikes, and never had a issue with them. Within the last 16 years or so, I've had to replaced them after a period time, but due to the fact you can't clean them. Granted I do live in So. Cal where the weather is not extreme. One day I might try K&N, but for the price I'll stay with the EMGO filter pods.

K&N pods have skyrocketed in price worse than gas. I remember when a set of 4 pods was $24 or $6 each. That's what they are worth. The rubber goes hard and you have "plastic" pods that don't sit right on the carbs. I never tried Emgo so can't comment there, but K&N pods I'd give a low score to due to the turning to plastic, plus passing much more dirt than stock.
321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.
