Exploded view of 85 ZN750LTD Carbs??? was created by Born Dead
Does anyone have one they can post? The manual doesn't really give a clear example. I'm looking to find out where the hose in between carb 3 and 4 that fit's into a T-fitting goes. It isn't a fuel line and I don't think it's a drain. Could I cap it off or does it go to something I'm overlooking,
Thanks in advance.

Is that a Canadian model? In 1985 the US only received the ZN700...don't know what the differences in carbs might be.

Sorry, yes it is the Canadian model. I know it has no emmissions shit on the bike, just can't quite figure out what this hose may be for. On my KZ900 it has the same type of setup, but it goes to the petcock. So on the ZN there is only one fuel and one vacum line, this other line going to the t-fitting has got me baffled. Nothing in the manual either.

Kawasaki.com shows a 1985 ZN700-A2 (LTD Shaft-Drive) carb assembly with an air vent Tee fitting between carbs 1-2 and another between carbs 3-4, Part Number 92005B (see image below).

If these are the parts in question, I suspect they are for floatbowl venting whereby the hose to each tee vents to the atmosphere (open to the air). Some Kawasaki models route carb vent hoses to exit underneath the bike seat.

As carb floatbowls do require venting -- (1) the vents should not be capped off, (2) the hoses from the Tee fittings should not be connected to each other (3) the hoses from the Tee fittings should not be connected to anything else either, and (4) the hoses from the Tee fittings should be allowed to remain open to the air, preferably exiting underneath the bike seat.

As the above involves some guessing, please await better advice from someone with better knowledge of these particular carbs. Good Luck! :)

Thanks dude, I assumed it was an air vent, and I have it under the seat. Just had me a little baffled, since this bike was a basket case when I got it. I just wanted to make sure something wasn't missing or taken off by the previous owner.
Thanks again.
