I need to check float levels, how do I do it with the carbs on and also when they are off the bike?

Use clear plastic tube method, regardless of whether carbs are on the bike or off the bike on the bench. Carbs to be "level" during measurement. Good Luck!

I used a thin piece of plastic tubing that I tapered the end on (with an X-acto knife) to be able to jam it into the hole in the bowl that the drain screw is in. Mickey mouse, but it works.
