noticed one of the diaphragms has a hole(s) in it. I'm aware you can purchase these from germany for a lot of $$ but I'd like to try and fix it. I've seen some ideas on how to fix them but I can't find any info on how to clean the rubber. What is best to clean the rubber that won't eat it so I can prep it for glueing? rubbing alcohol, carb cleaner, soap and water????????

Not sure what carb's you have but check here...

These seem reasonable... Again, pending your carb model...
