Hello everyone i am new to the sight , but have been reading the Forum for a long time.
Problem 1976 kz900 stock motor 4-1 pipe , timing is good
point are set and the plugs look good nice brown, stock air box, has all power to redline , but when i adjust the air screw to 1 3/8 turns out it run like crap?i have them at 1/2 turn out and it run good . when it is warm it hesitaes alittle at idle....i have had the bike 2 weeks now checking everything? any help would be great full, floats and bowl are clean ,...

Do you know what size jets are in it?
Do you know what carbs you have? 26 or 28
Id say you are on the right track just keep experimenting with the air screw.
Check your jet size at your convenience.
I have my air screws at 7/8 of a turn out.

sorry there 26mm stock carb , all the books and other post say 1 3/8 turns out ,some of the carb experts
say the same , i wiil check the jets this weekend. thanks for the reply.:blink:
