29mm Question was created by badrhino
When I bought my bike none of the hoses were hooked up to the carbs.

Could someone please tell me what these inlets to the carbs are. I know that the large one is probably for the fuel line from the gas tank. What are the two on the upper outside of the carbs for?

Those are for vent-lines.
Run a length of hose from each one,and route them to the back of the engine, hanging down towards the front of the swingarm.
Do NOT cap them off,or bridge them.;)

Well it has bin some time sense I looked at my carbs I hope I get this right.
The large one in the center between the to inside bowels is gas in.
The two upper ones are (vents) or (over) flow for lack of a better words.
You should have hoses on those as well but they go to the atmosphere.
Hope I got that right.

Thanks guys! That is what I thought but wanted to make sure. Because the upper/outer two look a little high to be overflow vents, wouldn't the gas run into the airbox/pods before it could vent out of the hoses?

It is a fact that the 29mm smoothies don't have overflow lines, and yes,gas CAN seep into the engine.
Try to get in the habbit of turning the fuel off, even for short stops. You'll probably forget to turn it on a few times, before you get the hang of it.
Also...make sure the needles and seats in the float-bowls are in good shape.

The one in the middle(down low) is your fuel inlet(5/16),and the 2 uppers are for the vent lines.
