Does anyone remember those small plastic limiter caps that slid over the small screw on the bottom of the fuel bowls on a KZ-1000? It's the adjustment screw that protruded through the bowl. My KZ had them when new, but a carb guy threw them away on me. Does anyone know where I could get a set? Thanks.

I would like to know their purpose if anyone has a clue. Are they useful or just keep you from screwing up your carb more than a 1/4 turn?

I remember the limiter caps on carb mixture screws first appeared back when smog control got big. They kept people from riching up the carbs which increases idle emissions. Best thing to do with the caps is throw them in the trash.
