loss of fuel was created by buffalorider
I have a 81 650csr. Some mods are done. Pipe, pods, tires. and ect. It runs great but the issue comes in when I'm riding a wheelie. It seems to run out of fuel. The only thing I can think of is the acc. pump has a small leak so it may not be suplying the extra fuel needed. any help would be great.

The accelerator pump only puts one squirt of gas into the combustion chamber when the throttle is opened. Check your float levels...

The angle the bike is at in a wheelie might be enough that the fuel level is pushing the float upwards and preventing fuel flow. The answer is fuel injection!
