Just finished returning the bike from long term storage and overhauled the carbs, dont claim to be an expert but like to try to fix things my self. When i run the bike high speed power is great but bike surges at a constant throttle position. Doesnt seem to matter if it is 2000 or 4000 rpm it seams to hunt. I dont see a rpm drop just feel the power comming and going. I need ideas on what i did wrong or where to look for my problem. thanks

Sounds like a lean condition, may have missed a little something in carbs. Did it run OK before storage? Doesn't take much to block gas flow....

I would buy a shop manual and go through tune up steps suggest and in the order suggested. I would also check compression.
