dumb question incoming! (temp air filter) was created by southside76
my 77 kz650 came without the factory airbox and no pods or anything. i cant find them locally and want to try to start my bike up for the first time tonight, is there something i can use for a temp air filter? thanks in advance

It SHOULD start with full choke, but wont run for long as it warms up. Pantyhose over the inlets should keep crap out.:huh: Sounds funny, but it works..

If you are talking about running the bike in a garage (do open the door of the garage some) and not taking the bike out on the road, it won't hurt anything to run without an airbox. It will run a bit lean though... harder to start and slow to warm will be the biggest symptoms.
