Carb houses :( was created by McGregor
Hi there,
Please, correct me, if I'm wrong :
The fuel feed line from petcock goes in the T fitting between #2 and #3 carbs.
Vacuum line from petcock goes straight to carb #2.
Carb #3 has cap on it's port.
The question is :
What about ports on carbs #1 and #4 ?
Should I attach T housing assembly from vacuum switch to those carbs ?
Another question:
I have sending unit ( from a fuel level gauge ) mounted in the bottom of fuel tank.
This unit sleeps under plastic cover with rubber hose attached to cover's port.
That hose ends up near rear fender.
What this hose has made for? It's nothing going on between sending unit and it's cover :S
I'm completely lost :(
Please, help. SOS:unsure:

Howdy

Fuel line sounds OK. If there´s only one line from petcock and one T-fitting then only one fuel line.

Vacuum line. One should be connected to the vacuum fitting of the petcock. All other caps must be capped tightly to preven air leaks.

Rubber hose from the fuel level gauge sounds like an overflow line if it´s routed down near the rear fender.

Hope this will help you

I am almost positive the one routed from the fuel gauge is an overflow. My GPZ has a gauge from the factory with a hose routed to the rear fender area. I would route it to the same place it was, just make sure that it is not "aimed" at your rear tire or your leg. If it overflows, you don't want your rear wheel slick or your pant leg saturated with gasoline.

I know it would not be any fun if it was easy, but does it have to be this much fun?
