running rich was created by triggerbilly
OK i have been starting my bike up every day and letting it idle for 10 mins (running the seafoam in the fuel) to try and solve the rpm flat spots.
I've just took the plugs out to have a look and the are BLACK and oily (so i guess i'm running too rich)
could this be the answer to the flat spots ??
what do i nee to adjust or look at to make the mixture a bit leaner ?

thanks

You might want to go to our website and have a look at the valve clearance and coil repowering articles. You may also have carb related issues but you need to get a manual and do some tune up related stuff by the sound of it...
