Does anyone know of a good canadian source for rebuild kits for Mikuni's from a '78 650B?

Failing that, who's good south of the border to order from?

Thanks!

These guys sell great products, I'm actually in the process of rebuilding my Mikuni VM28's for my 1000. I got my kits from them, and they're right down the street from my work too!

Hey Alex-Check the taper on the needle valve. If I am not mistaken Wiredgeorge had commented on aftermarket needles before. If I recall his comments he said original ones from Kawasaki had a more pointed taper and therefore seated more accurately than aftermarket ones that had a less sharp point. Maybe some other members could chime in on this as it is the weekend and my brain of thought has been known to derail during this down time. The price certainly seems reasonable.

The needles I got with the kits look pretty much the same as the needles that are in my carbs right now. Neither are adjustable, neither are really sharp at the bottom. If these carbs have been rebuilt before, they were probably rebuilt with kits from Keyster.

Excellent, thanks all.

While the jets and seats look good, the carbs are leaking fuel from old gaskets at the bowl, and the old o-rings. When I take apart the carb, I find about 4 o rings in total, but see only two in the kit. Anyone have experience with locating the others?
Is there a common area that these carbs leak from?

Thanks!
