Suzuki (Part# 09355-45855-600)

This comes up as 4.5x8.5x600. What do the numbers mean? if it's ID x OD x length, then is that the right number?

I found it mentioned as a vacuum line.

The vacuum hose part number is 09355-45855-600. Looking at the second half of the number (after the "-"), it tells you that it is 4.5mm inside diameter, 8.5mm outside diameter, probably from vendor #5, and is 600mm long (quite a bit more than you need).

The fuel hose part number is 09352-70103-00B, which tells you that it is 7mm inside, 10mm outside (from vendor #3?). The length is not given in the part number, but I have received about 2 meters (6 feet) of it when I order it.

Could it be that we want part number 09352-70103-00B? That part comes up as a drain hose for water. But maybe it is used for fuel too, as others seem to use it for fuel. EDIT: other suppliers list it as "fuel".

And yes, stay away from any glossy hose. I've tried many, and all failed. Maybe they can work a short while without corn-fuel, but that's almost impossible to get around here.

Oh my, I posted the wrong Suzuki part number. Yes, the correct number is Part# 09352-70103-00B

7mm ID and enough hose to do about 3-4 bikes.

Sorry about that.

I cannot answer for all, but I use fractional size because I can get outstanding quality fuel line (Goodyear SAE 30R7) in fractional but not in metric sizes. Unlike some other fuel line I used in the past, including the original Kawasaki fuel line, ethanol fuel does not affect the Goodyear product at all. I use 5/16” fuel line and it fits well with zero leaks. The difference in size doesn’t seem to affect the fit at all since the fuel line is pliable. The size I use is slightly larger than stock, so it doesn't reduce fuel flow. I wouldn’t mind using the metric sized line if it was available from Goodyear, but they do not list it on their website (see link below) in metric sizes. If they ever offer it I might switch back to metric. Ed

Been using this too from the start with no problems and the same spring clamps you like...... lasts forever with 0 leaks and break down...... been getting mine from Farm and Fleet.
