I have fuel flow from the tank but...

Hi all. My bike (79 KZ1300) sat for over a year. I have fuel flow from the tank but it seems that's as far as it goes. I got it running good for an hour or so but now nothing. I did get it started again, after sitting for a day, and it ran for a minute, weakly, and then the same thing happened- loss of power and then kaput. Any hints? I appreciate the help. -Michael

If you have stock vacuum petcock try it on "Pri". This will bypass the vacuum controlled part and there should be a free flow of gas. Vacuum petcock are nice wgen they work but I changed to a Pingel since it definately works. Jeff @ Z1Enterprises.com has them.

AAAAAAHHHHH !

Now fuel blockage problems!!!

Run "Sea-Foam" fuel treatment through it and see how much it helps.

Got it at Schucks for a few bucks.
