I have a stupid question or questions.

1)I am rebuilding a bike i just bought and there is a couple things wrong with it, first the carbs have the main gas line running to the center of them to the fuel rail. What are the two (2) outer intake holes for? These two were just bare when I bought the bike.

2) The fuel pit cock only has the one hose running from it to the center of the carbs (fuel rail) The others are blocked off, where do they go?

These might be dumb questions but it has been a while since I've messed with older (carb'd) bikes.

Thanks

The two other hoses are either overflow or vacuum. I'm sure George will see this post and fill you in more. Do you have three places for lines on your petcock? If so two of them are fuel lines and one is a vacuum port.
