Just picked up an 81 for $100 in good shape but of course its not running. Anyone direct me to a manual as I'm pulling the carbs for cleaning.

According to Kawasaki there were no 81 KZ750 twins manufactured.
I'm not picking on you, it's just that it's important because there are large differences between a 1980 KZ750G and a 1982 KZ750M, and you definitely want to get the right manual.
I'm assuming you looked at the date of manufacture on the sticker mounted to the neck behind the headlight, and it said something like 8/81, right? That would make it an 82 model because like everyone else Kawasaki starts manufacturing the next year model after the middle of the current year.
If the front axle mounts in front of the forks, and it says "CSR" on the sidecovers, it's an 1982. If the axle is mounted on the bottom of the forks, and it says "LTDt" on the sidecovers, then it's a 1980.
Here is a pic of what a 80 750G looks like
And here is a 82 KZ750M that I used to have.
I'll try another post

My mistake. I bought two bikes off the guy for $100 each, a 76 Yamaha XS650 Twin and the 81 KZ750 4 cyl with pod filters. Since it has pods I hope its jetted properly. I'll find out when I pull the carbs.
