DFI Injector top rubbers

Does anyone know if its possible to change the top rubbers on the GPz stock injectors at home? or will I need to take it to a Bosche specialist?

After 24 years mine have weathered a bit and got a couple of splits which were spitting fuel all over the bottom of the tank and motor.

Cheers!

Trent

Hello Trent...they don't appear to be offered separately by Kawasaki and they look like they are firmly attached to the injector suggesting that perhaps a visit to a fuel injector shop might be in order. Either that or watch eBay and replace the entire injector:blink: But then, I'm not particularly adept at fabricating parts (but not too bad at replacing them).:)

Dremel to cut off the crimp hose clamps, then worm drive clamps to re-attach new hoses.

Sweet that dremel sounds like a good idea.

I like modifying things :)
