Pod filter jetting, KZ550 was created by Tbird232ci
Hey guys, I've got an 83 KZ550. I got the bike for free, but was in parts and needed a carb rebuild. I rebuilt the carbs to the best of my ability (I'm a car guy, and deal with EFI)

Anyways, I got the carbs together, and I realized that the couplers from the air box to the carbs were rock solid. I figured at this point, I'll just stick some pod filters on it.

*edit* Since I was out there tinkering with the bike, I noticed my exhaust crossover was quite rusty, and rather flimsy. I ordered a crossover from Dennis Kirk (70 bucks shipped, not bad), and maybe next pay check, I'd like to get some slip ons to go with the new crossover.

Now I understand these need to be jetted and tuned, but I'm not very capable of messing with carbs to that extent, so I was hoping someone could either help me out in person, or at least give me a good base jet to start with, so I can get the bike somewhere to have them tune it, balance the carbs, etc.

Im here in Severn, Md, and any help would be appreciated

Thanks.
