Thread size on main jets

I just added new air pods to my 78 Z1R and the mid range is very rough. I am going to rejet this weekend. Can anyone tell me the thread size used for the main jets on Mikuni carbs?

I work for a brass fitting company, we have about 100 different gas orfices and I am sure I will find the same style orfice, I just need to know the thread size. Or I will have to wait until Saturday and pull one out from the carb and measure it.

The jets will be easy to make with the proper orifice.

Make sure the chamfer on the beveled edge of the opening is at the same angle as Mikuni uses otherwise your home-made jet will end up splatting gas out rather than atomizing it. I have had a load of bad pilot jets with this problem. You could spray carb cleaner through them and they splattered and didn't atomize. I figure this out after not being able to make a bike idle. I had to get back with my supplier regarding this problem. Good luck.
