I did a search and I guess the stock ones are #15, and these #17.5 should work. My question is, Z1 says those are for VM22's but fit other Mikuni's. Does that include the VM24's which I believe are the ones on the 78 C model?
I'd call, but if I don't have to bother them, and you guys know...

Sudco Mikuni manual shows pilot jet VM22/210 application as "Most Mikuni Carbs" and BS30/96 application as "OEM CV Carb." But manual is silent as to exact size of the manual slide (VM22 vs VM24) or CV carb involved.
When comparing the pic in the posted Z1E link with the pilot jet pic shown in the carb kit listed by Z1E for 1978 KZ650, the physical difference isn't very clear (at least to my eyes).
Z1E Kit
Okay, I better stick to the carbs on my bikes.
EDIT: Oh . . Wait . . I get it  . The reference to BS threw me off as it was intended only to distinguish the similar appearing BS pilot jet, and it took a moment to figure out what a BS carb had to do with this. So the short answer to loudhvx's original question would be YES (as wg already said).

What confuses me is Kawasaki.com showing manual slide carb for 1978 KZ650-C, whereas the BS series is CV? (Maybe subject carbs have been converted?).
